As a result of a press release concerning the Women’s Recovery Center’s Miracles of Recovery Breakfast on May 7th we received an email from Alexandra Botti, a producer with the nationally syndicated public radio program The Takeaway out of New York City. The show airs in 400+ stations across the United States. Alexandra Botti is responsible for much of the program’s coverage of the #MeToo movement and the opioid crisis.
Knowing that Ohio is on the front lines of the opioid crisis, Alex was visiting Cleveland for a story about rumors of a significant reduction in opioid use and opioid overdoses in Ohio. Alex interviewed one WRC client that is in the third phase of treatment. The second client interviewed was a recent graduate and will be sharing her testimonial at the Miracles of Recovery Breakfast.
