Women’s Recovery Center utilizes a volunteer application that includes information to conduct a background check and reference check. We require all volunteers to agree to confidentiality policies and background checks. Volunteer opportunities include one-time or regular opportunities. Opportunities include cleaning, child care, building help, outreach, reception and board committees.

For those positions that include direct contact with children and clients, it is required that volunteers have a criminal background check performed and sent to the Women’s Recovery Center at 6209 Storer Avenue, Cleveland OH 44102. The volunteer is responsible for the cost which ranges from $40 to $60. Background checks can be performed in most police stations.
