A Commitment from the Women’s Recovery Center

June 5, 2020

At the Women’s Recovery Center, we know that many of our staff, clients, and community are directly impacted by unjust and racist systems. The death of George Floyd and the protests over the past weeks have further highlighted the current divide in our city, our state, and our nation.

We must take action to combat structural inequities and racism that continue to hold us back. We must come together to make meaningful change for those that need our support.

We believe strongly in the need for diversity, inclusion, fairness and we are firmly opposed to any form of racism, bigotry, and hatred. We pledge to speak up and speak out when we see this happening in our community. We stand with those that are fighting for meaningful changes in Cleveland and beyond.
