Pam Bouyer Officially Accepted the Position as Clinical Director! – 3/9/2021

Pam Bouyer, our Interim Clinical Director has officially accepted the position permanently. She started with the Women’s Recovery Center on August 4, 2001. She was a Cleveland State intern with the Women’s Recovery Center before being hired full-time. Pam was the primary evening counselor most of her time at the WRC and until she assumed as the Interim Clinical Director. Pam has excelled as the Interim Clinical Director of the Women’s Recovery Center, and we are proud to have her continue as our official Clinical Director. She has phenomenal clinical skills and brings the same diligence, care, and professionalism in her role as Clinical Director. Client care and our client’s opportunity for success are her number one priority. In her short time as Interim Clinical Director, she led the agency through closing evening treatment to accommodate for a lower client census during COVID-19, OhioMHAS 3-year renewal, CARF survey (we are anxiously waiting for the results!), and hiring of two new WRC staff. Pam has the following designations: Licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor (LICDC) (supervisory designation pending), Ohio Chemical Dependency Professionals Board, Internationally Certified Alcohol & Drug Counselor (ICADC), and the International Certification & Reciprocity Consortium. She has her Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy and is pursuing a Master’s in Public Health. Pam is also working on her dissertation in Philosophy in Forensic Psychology.
