Baking Memories - 2009

The fourth annual Baking Memories is scheduled for Saturday, December 5, 2009.  Place your cookie order for your holiday gatherings and office holiday parties.

Do you have special memories of baking holiday cookies with your mother and grandmother? Baking cookies has been a family tradition for hundreds of years. The simple pleasure of baking cookies brings the family together, it is a time for laughter, fun and sharing love.  As women are rebuilding their lives and their families, they are looking for opportunities to build new and healthy traditions with their children.

Volunteers Jeff Faubert and Lee Carr coordinated Baking Memories.  Mothers and their children received specially designed Baking Memories Aprons and shared the experience of measuring and mixing together ingredients to create tasty treats. Baking Memories is one step in establishing traditions and one step in reunifying healthy families.
